If Amazon shows only a percentage, switch input modes. The calculator compares item prices and multiplies the per-order difference by your delivery frequency.
Does the calculator assume Amazon’s maximum discount?
No. Amazon says eligible subscriptions may save up to 15%, but the offer varies by product and delivery setup. This calculator uses the final recurring total you enter, or only the percentage you provide when no total is shown.
Are coupons or Amazon card rewards included?
No. One-time coupons, card rewards, tax, and shipping are excluded. That keeps the recurring Subscribe & Save comparison separate from discounts that may not apply to every order.
What Subscribe & Save discount does Amazon need to match my store?
The result calculates the minimum subscription percentage needed for the entered Amazon one-time price to reach the exact-pack shelf price. It rounds that threshold upward to two decimal places and shows how many additional percentage points the current offer would need.
When should I include the store trip?
Only when this delivery genuinely replaces a dedicated store run. The option is off by default. If the item would simply be added to a trip you are making anyway, leave it off and use the item-price result.
Does entering my prices publish them?
No. This calculator runs in your browser and does not submit the product name or prices as public evidence. If you save a comparison, it stays in this browser’s local storage until you remove it. Can I total several household subscriptions?
